That was my activity last Xmas Break. I took the opportunity of taking that long break to rest my body and mind. The Christmas was spent in silence with close family only. There was not much merrymaking and noise in my Chritmas break so I took the opportunity to rest my body and I am glad that I did that coz after the break I know work will start to be a burden.
Now I feel more energized and not tired from the parties and merrymaking during the holidays.

Yeah it hit us with heavy rains from the 27th to 31st. But luckily we were not hit by flooding since our place is a bit higher in elevation compared to our neighboring towns which suffered. Travel back home was ok since we flown back to Manila.

@hereandthere Yup the typhoon hasn't arrived yet when we got home. The rain started after Christmas.

Indeed, a short vacation wherein you simply just have to be at home, eat, sleep and watch TV is enough to reinvigorate you. Thus, when you go back to work, you will have new ideas to adapt and suggest at work and can do your work so willingly.,
Did you go home to Bicol?

Best of all you had the chance to spend a restful holiday with your close family. Family first.

True. I agree to that those are just superficial things doing parties and all of that sorts of things. Our lord was even born on a very silent night and its the opposite of what everyone is doing now making noise and everything to celebrate Christmas.

@rsa101 that's right. We can celebrate and be thankful on His birth. John 3:16. He was born because God loves us so much.

@amitkokiladitya True I took advantage of that because I know when I get back to work stress and less sleep would be a daily routine again.

We were silent back in Christmas day and New Year too. Now, my concern is removing all of these decorations before the month ends.

It was good to be back with family. It was a good feeling to meet my father again after months of not seeing him. The weather was more like "bed" weather till the end to December so I took the opportunity to catch up on sleep which kind of refreshing to experience.
