I bought myself an air fryer before Christmas. I never got to use it before I left but my grandson Brandon has used it now and says it is wonderful. He made homemade French fries and breaded pork chops. I decided I wanted to get one for down here in Florida so I ordered one on Amazon and an air fryer cookbook too. One little itsy bitsy issue, I forgot to change the address and now it is going to be delivered today in Connecticut. I am so mad at myself. Brandon is going to open the box and see what he thinks of the machine. It is a Ninja. If he likes it and thinks it is easy to clean and use, then I will order another one to be shipped down here and I will give that one to him for at his home. I can't believe I was that stupid!! sigh!! I have some tequila lime chicken wings I want to cook in the air dryer.

They are, I have made them in the oven before but I think the air fryer will make them even crispier. lol January is just such a bad month financially, with Christmas and our house taxes are due by the end of the month, I could ill afford this ( she says as she slaps herself in the head) lol

Oh dear, what worries me is that these sort of slip-ups will probably happen more and more often as we get older.

I am so sorry, I fear that your tequila lime chicken wings have to wait. Those wings sound interesting by the way.

I have an air fryer and it's awesome. Aside from the standard fries I make my baked potatoes in it, it roasts fresh cauliflower, reheats pizza well,. I pretty much use my air fryer before I turn on the oven these days. I got one for my daughter in law for Christmas and she made dinner in it every night last week. Hope you love yours when you get it. Brandon is lucky you made a mistake!

We all commit mistakes and these kind of mistakes often happen. Nonetheless, had you dug up deep, you had the option of cancelling your order and re-order the product at the correct address, till it is delivered.

Unfortunately, it was too late to cancel the order, Amazon gets them shipped out so fast, it was the notice that it had shipped that told me it was going to the wrong address.

Yes, we love chicken in ours and fries, it does wonderful tater tots too. My son loves ours so much anything to be made in it, he takes over. Love those kind of toys, makes the guys in the house get into the kitchen instead of me.

@BelleStarr it is a power fryer XL, It was a gift I think it was from Amazon. I like it, but one of the kids dropped the fryer pan that you pull out with the food in it, so the front comes off, but still works well.

I guess you had to hold off on cooking those wings a little bit, but you've probably had them by now. I was trying to figure out why you considered yourself an idiot while reading. I've done stuff like that before even though I only live one place. I almost forwarded mail last year thinking the mailman was way off the mark as it was addressed across the state. Luckily, I looked at it again just before taking it to the postoffice and realized it was for my daughter who moved back home again. She was living across the state before moving back, but I didn't catch the first name on the envelope and figured they'd mixed us up with someone with a similar name over there. That may even be sadder than what you did.

@BelleStarr I don't blame it on age, I blame it on being too busy. My kids forget just about as much as I do and they're just close to thirty. With the help of the internet and other ways we keep track of a lot more people now than our parents did when they were our age. That's a lot of info about everyone that we want to keep intact, so where we're living now or who exactly is living with us may not come to the surface quite as fast, lol.

I know how that feels, I ordered patio chairs this summer and they went to my old home in CO. I had to call UPS and have them go back and pick them up, thankfully they were still on the porch because the new owners weren't home. Unfortunately they sent them back to the warehouse and I had to reorder them. I got an air fryer for Christmas but haven't used it yet, was going to do chicken in it but then was afraid to try it.

I had that problem with an order from Puritan's Pride where I order my vitamins from, it ended up lost and it took a while to convince them that I didn't ever get them.

@BelleStarr Isn't that frustrating, they should be able to see on tracking that they didn't make it where they were supposed to be going.

A senior moment? Or maybe a brain fart? At least it is going to an address of someone you know you can trust. I have been .thinking about obtaining an air fryer. Now I know it really is a good thing.

Ive been wondering if an air fryer is worth getting, since we make homemade fries in our deep fryer with oil, but it sometimes scares me with how it pops and stuff if the potatoes are somehow still a little wet. Sorry you didnt send it to flordia. Hope you have one soon.

Oh I bet those Tequila Lime chicken wings would be good. Urgh, well we all make mistakes sometimes. I have deleted the other addresses I've used. I've sent things to California from Amazon before, and things to a friend thirty minutes down the road from amazon. Of course, since you bounce between two houses, it would be silly for you to delete the address every time. I wish there was a way to put in bold letters "Connecticut" and "Florida" so you are less likely to make the same mistake again. As an aside, I've now sent something all the way across the pond (via etsy) and have to be sure I select the right address from now on. That would be a real blunder on my part.

You are probably not the first person to make that mistake. They had some at Aldi (not the same brand we would think) near you. Wonder if they are still there?
