A Family in Atlanta goes from getting better to terrible.. because of govern. shutdown... Just before Christmas, Jessica Caraballo and her husband got the break they had long worked for. They were so happy.. In their three-year marriage, the 31-year-old and her husband, Shalique, have gotten job after job trying to support their children. She has driven for Uber, he embalmed bodies at an Atlanta funeral home, and she worked all night at a Walmart store. It was just last month when things finally appeared to be falling into place. Caraballo, a Transportation Security Administration officer at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, was promoted to a full-time position and her husband got a new job selling cars. Buying a home, getting a second car and even just enrolling their three children in extracurricular activities at school would now be more than just dreams, they said. But their joy lasted only a few days. Now with the us gov. shutdown .. Now only less than 2 months from getting their new home.. bank has said they dont care they will forclose on them.. Thanks trump man ..

I'm confused, how does the government shut down cause them foreclosure. What did they do stop paying or never make their payments?

Those airport workers are necessary for proper running of flights. It is awful that they are not getting their pay (even if it is delayed). We don't know how long this partial shutdown will last. I bet if those airport workers went on strike and ruined the airport transportation system, then the government shut down would cease. That is what they should do to put pressure on all our corrupt Politicians.

I'm confused.. shut down hasn't even lasted a month. foreclosure I thought didn't start til the 3rd missed payment. So 3 months? How are they losing their house if they missed at this point, 2 checks/ 1 month? did they stop paying before the shutdown?
