Comiccons Cosplay Fun Times

Here in Kansas we have a few Comic Conventions that are a lot of fun. That is if you like things like that.Our bunch regularly goes to Hutchinson Kansas for the Smallville Comiccon. It is a great place to meet different actors and see all of the people(Cosplay) who dress up as all kinds of different characters from movies , books and comic books.One weekend in June every year they legally change the name of Hutchinson to Smallville Kansas. I have met some really wonderful people there and other Cons famous and not famous .
Of all the actors I met my favorites were Erick Avari ,and of course My Sweet Cheeks (yes he knows I call him that) Corin Nemec . We were Twitter friends before we got to go meet him.
So my question for you all is.. Do any of you ever go to Comic conventions? Would you like to if you haven't ever been? My kids and grand kids dress as characters , not me though .I might make a good Jabba The Hut though..

Well, I haven't been to a ComicCon yet but to three other Sci Fi Conventions here in Germany. The most recent visit was almost 4 years ago and I finally got autographs by my two favourite Star Trek Voyager guys
