Stuck Home Today Waiting for a Delivery

My daughter and son in law gave Al Omaha steaks for Christmas. They were supposed to be delivered yesterday. When we didn't get the box I asked my daughter if I had the right day. She called her hubs and he had gotten a message saying they were delayed one day.
So even though I wanted to go out today, I am stuck home waiting. I hate the idea of leaving a box full of steaks sitting on our front porch for anyone to see and maybe a dishonest person picking up. I hope the package arrives soon so that we can go out and do what we need to.

We got a box last year and Al loved the bacon wrapped filets and the apple dumplings lol

@BelleStarr well that sucks! so sorry. hope it was just a regular day that you wanted to do stuff, and not a day that you had things scheduled for like appointments or spa time or anything.

@BelleStarr There was a double danger, that someone came and stole the steaks, or that they got spoiled in the sun.

What a wonderful gift. I've gotten Omaha Steaks before. I do hope that the package arrives soon.
I've had food stuffs be mis-delivered before. That was a headache and a hassle in and of itself. You will have to write a discussion about what types of steaks were in the package.

I hate when we're held hostage by people who are supposed to deliver/call/arrive. Hope your steaks will be yummy. Our daughter gave that to our son for Christmas, but don't know if he's gotten them yet.
