On December 31 my husband bought and ordered a truck to be delivered to our home. We though, and were told, no problem. It will only take a couple of days and you will have it.
Well, today in January 8 and guess what, it isn't here. Apparently they were waiting, without letting us know, for a big truck to have several to deliver in this area.
Day after day, the hubby called to find out when the truck will be delivered. They would tell him the would "Call him tomorrow" and let him know. But, they wouldn't call, they just left him hanging.
Supposedly it is finally on the large truck and be delivered today. I'll let you know if it does make it here. There never should have been a problem, new paid cash for it.
If they had been honest from the beginning my hubby wouldn't be pacing the floor and getting anxious about the whole deal.

Personally to me, that seems like Bad business practices, and hope it did finally come

Waiting is not a favorite thing of mine to do either. Hope it finally arrives.

I hope it arrives soon to relieve your hubby's anxiety. That would bother me, too. We had a car that we bought in Florida shipped home. The truck was so large that it couldn't manage the curve of our street. My husband had to walk one mile to pick it up. (Not that that was very bad.)

Waiting is irritating and tedious.
