On December 31 my husband bought and ordered a truck to be delivered to our home. We though, and were told, no problem. It will only take a couple of days and you will have it. Well, today in January 8 and guess what, it isn't here. Apparently they were waiting, without letting us know, for a big truck to have several to deliver in this area. Day after day, the hubby called to find out when the truck will be delivered. They would tell him the would "Call him tomorrow" and let him know. But, they wouldn't call, they just left him hanging. Supposedly it is finally on the large truck and be delivered today. I'll let you know if it does make it here. There never should have been a problem, new paid cash for it. If they had been honest from the beginning my hubby wouldn't be pacing the floor and getting anxious about the whole deal.

@HazySue Why do people have to play games? Why can't they be honest? Did you ever get the trip after they jerked you around? I know it was in January.

I hate when they cheat like this, letting people waiting when they know it will not be delivered.

I think if they had told him it would take a week to be delivered he would have been ok. But, everyday he expected it to arrive.

I hope it arrives soon to relieve your hubby's anxiety. That would bother me, too. We had a car that we bought in Florida shipped home. The truck was so large that it couldn't manage the curve of our street. My husband had to walk one mile to pick it up. (Not that that was very bad.)

He is happy, it arrived a couple of days ago. My hubby had to meet them at a shopping center near here. There way o way they would make it in and out of our cul-d-sac.

I really get annoyed when people don't call back when they should.

So do I. If you are not going to call back, don't say you will.

It is. He has been driving it around the last couple of days. I was beginning to think it might be some kind of scam.

It sure is, especially when it is a new toy for the hubby.

Wow they really took great liberty with doing that. Seems to me they got your money and once they got it, they felt they did not have to inform you of any lateness. That is the epitome of bad business.

They had such a good reputation we thought it would all go smoothly. Who knew they would be slow in delivery.
