During my lifetime, I experienced worries of these is about my daughter. She has a personality disorder. She is always at home and doesn't want to go out. However, she comes out of the house whenever she likes. The cause is that she observed some flaws in my married life with her father. Yes, we are living in the same roof but we really are estranged. I have a cousin who is close to me. We sometimes see each other and chat for several hours. We treat each other as close friends aside from being cousins. I confided to him my problems and worries, I even told him that even if I don't have intimate relationship with my husband but I don't want to lose him for the sake of my daughter. My cousin really understands me and cares for me so whenever I come to his city, I see to it that we can have sometime together and talk. He give me some advice which I also follow.

How old is your daughter?? A good age appropriate talk with her might help you both. You have to try to keep the communication channels open. It is tough for both of you.

She already 20 years and I worry so much because she still can not live alone. I really wish the best for her. And yes, our communication channels are open.

@pahak627 It is good that the communication channels are open between you two. A healthy communication is the key. You have to give her time and support to be independent .

I'm sorry that you're having marital problems, I will be praying for you. I think your daughter already sees what's going on so maybe a talk with her might help. Be careful that the advice you follow is the loving advice it should be.

I am glad you have your cousin to talk to. It helps. I am sorry about your marital problems. I hope you are able to work things out. Lots of marriages go through a rough patch but survive. You and your daughter need to sit down and have a talk so she can ask you any questions she may have concerns about.

Well, I am already contented with our situation at this time. We have no more quarrel as we seldom talk with each other. We are still in talking terms but deep within, I don't wish of any intimate moments with him anymore. What is important is my relationship with my children.
