Hello everyone. It is midnight here in my neck of the woods. I have to write this before I forget about this in the morning. Today, I was repotting my dancing ladies orchids. They were so many and I have hung them on a guava tree in my front yard. A few days ago, I took a photo of my other orchids. I am not sure if it is really a Catleya orchid. I still have to do a research. This orchid was very fragrant and was about to fade when I saw it. That is the photo above. So how was your hump day? Mine was fine. Anyway, good night and see you later. Thanks for reading.

I was recently gifted a beautiful orchid plant. My goal is not to kill it! You definitely have a green thumb, and your orchid is beautiful.

I have one orchid that I've managed to keep alive for several years but I think I need to split it into two. It seems to have made a new plant above the old one. This is a very pretty orchid that you've shown us.

@JudyEv yes, it is very nice. That is why I take good care of them and I have someone to take care of them when I am in my home in Germany.

When the orchids become plenty, you have to divide them into two or more. That way they well grow well being repotted. Thanks @JudyEv. That orchid is actually planted by my late mother a few years ago. It is still alive and have many branches now. I have to divided them too when I find a place for them in my yard.

Looks like a dendrobium to me from the stem and leaf structure..but I can't see it too well in this picture. Lovely orchid and fragrant too.

@LadyDuck that's good. Only water your orchids once a week. Water them in the bathtub and let them drained there before putting them back to where you put them.

@amadeo it is not good to put an ice cube in the orchids pot. Orchids should be only watered not bellow 16 degree Celsius. I have an article about how to take care of an orchids in a pot. Just visit my profile and you can find it where I wrote it. Thanks.

I used coconut husk @louievill. I got the coconut husk fresh from a coconut. Gladfully, a paid man harvested our coconuts yesterday. Oh! I forgot, I still have 2 young coconut fruits to eat. Thanks for reminding me.
