One of my goals for this year is to be more social. To that end, Thursday's is rock painting at the local ADRC. It's from 9 to 11 so I need to leave soon. I also need to eat before I leave.
I'm looking forward to being more social. It gives me a burst of energy and I find I like painting rocks.
So, I'm going to get dressed, eat, and leave. I should be back by noon to work more notifications. I'm way behind again as I'm working on the 8th's notifications.
I'm still having map problems. My publisher e-mailed me yesterday to meet with her one day next week and hand her the map instead of trying to send it anymore online. So, I hope it works that way. Above is the map I tried to post a few days ago. It didn't post because I need to resize it. I'm going to hand her the color version of the map instead of the black and white as that might be where all the trouble lies.
Anyway, time for me to get off the computer and be social for a couple of hours.

I like your snowmen. There are a couple of other members here that paint rocks. Have you seen their posts yet? Mavic has done a few and I think sofs was the other one. Mavic tagged hers as painted stones.
When I followed the tag you used here I found some other members that have also tried this. I will check out your more recent post to say more about your rock painting.
I will say that if you're working the the 8th's notifications you're further along than I am as I'm trying to get the ones done from last Sunday. I was several days ahead earlier this week, but I'm glad I noticed so I don't lose any before I get there. I am finding that I've seen a lot of them already and just never followed through and deleted them. I need to get better at that part.

@just4him I can't see that happening. I see you as too modest even when you're getting loads of compliments, and maybe in spite of that. When I wrote here the other day I caught up to you and got up to the 8th. I still have some of those left and then the 9th. I like when I'm only two days behind, but then I mostly do them as they come in and eventually I'm behind again.

@MarshaMusselman I start with the older ones and work my way up. I only grab the newer ones when I'm working on a post like this one, and I haven't finished with it yet.
I'm not a good artist, but I'm finding I'm doing okay with the subjects I've chosen. I'm hoping the two I'll do on Thursday turn out. I found the perfect rocks last week. Now, I just need pictures so I can do them justice.

I delete as I go. I'm two days behind right now, working on the 12th. Sometimes it's hard to keep up.
I've seen some posts on rock painting, but not the ones you mentioned. Thanks. I'm getting a lot of compliments on my rocks from friends and when I'm painting at the ADRC. I need to be careful I don't get a swelled head.

Being here, or anywhere online is still being social. But I get it and am glad you're wanting to be more social outside of home and internet. And I'm also glad that you enjoy the rock painting! Maybe I'll get you some rock painting set for Christmas!
