Have you heard of International Hat Day?

I finally saw something on something I go into that said an international something day. On January 15th it will be International Hat Day and my hat stays on instead of goes off to all those that wear hats. That is something I can get behind. I wear hats for religious reasons. When an Orthodox Jewish woman gets married she has to cover her head so only her husband can see all of her hair. I am not married anymore but when I got married I had to start wearing something to cover my head and tried all kinds but found something I really like and still want to cover my hair. I love wearing hats. Does anyone else here like wearing hats? I thought since it is International Hat Day coming up that I should show you one of my hats. I know you cannot see the hat well but you can see I have one on.

Yes I am a big cap wearer. Great for a quick getaway when your hair is all messed up. And in the summertime at the beach to protect the scalp, going for a walk on a breezy day, or playing golf to compliment your outfit and block the sun's rays I've constantly got one on...

You look so pretty in your hat! I'm well aware of the Orthodox Jews having to cover their hair. I'm a Conservative, so never had to, except going onto the bima. Personally, I look like an idiot in hats, so rarely wear them.

I wear all kinds of hats!! But it has made my hair have problems!! So now i have to leave the hat off!!!
