You should try to lose weight with a low fat meal and exercise each day. Eat less dairy fat. Eat low fat or fat reduced milk, yogurt, soy drinks, cheese and ice cream. Choose vegetable oils: canola, olive, sunflower and soybeans. Eat lean meats and skinless chicken Eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Eat plant and fish oils rich in omega-3 fats. Omega-3 fats also improve blood flow. Be sure to stay fit and do not quit. Than eat light and eat right. If you are really smart do not smoke that is bad for your health.

A good thing is to keep moving around. Get up once in awhile and move around.

I prefer to eat half portion, but not low fat products, the "fat free" often also have no calcium.

@jstory07 We never eat a lot, but when I know that I have a pound or two to lose, I reduce my portions.

I guess I mostly follow the dietary requirement except the exercise thing. I think I am too lazy to follow an exercise regiment myself. I hope I can have the interest in joining one someday but for now I seem to have no interest in exercising. My exercise walking would be during work and grocery duties on weekend and at times when my family decides to go out on Sundays.
