A Fun Day Ahead

Happy Friday Everyone! the sun is shining, the clouds are blue and my coffee is hot. Of course that makes me smile but it's going to get even better than that!
Both my daughters are off from work today (a rare occurrence) and we're going out to lunch. I don't have any idea where but it will be fun to spend time with them and see the outside world. We haven't been out to lunch since before Thanksgiving (I think) so this will be lots of fun.
I love spending time with my girls and it's something my mom never did. She never liked going out to eat, shopping, movies etc so we didn't have that much to bond over. With my girls we all like pretty much the same things so our time together is fun.
Anyway, that's my plans for today.

Landlady work and caregiver work.
After my dad retired me and my sister would take my dad out for lunch, let him pick the place.

Aw, thats sad.. I'm sorry you and your mom didnt get to bond over things like that. But am so glad you and your children do.

Oh, I'm so happy for you! My daughter lives seven hours away and my granddaughter lives five hours in the other direction. But over the years we always enjoyed shopping when they lived closer. Have fun!

That sounds like so much fun! My mother and I did the same thing every week, even when the boys were born. I have such wonderful memories. Have a wonderful day.
I hit the gym and the rest of my day will be cleaning and finishing up dinner preparations. My fun begins at 6:00 when my brother and sis-in-law arrive for dinner here. Still, It's Friday and my favorite day!!!

I´m going to be online till noon, then I´m going to go shopping for some stuff I need for the weekend. At about 7:00 pm, I´m having dinner and then soon after going to bed

It was really cold outside, but me and Lily did go get the mail and take out the trash. I got some earrings I ordered. I hope to listen to some more of Mary Poppins. I might go to Walmart to get my pills. I might order a cat carrier this weekend.

I love doing things with my kids but it can be costly going out so I usually save it for special occasions or when I have coupons or see a really good deal. I hope you had a wonderful time with your daughters.

Waiting for arrival of friend and little dog..I was thinking of running to the store..but I might just make do with what I have. I am not really hurting for anything.

I really hope you enjoy your time with your girls.
I am going to try to read more on this book. I am going to write a discussion about my first impressions on it soon. Other then that? I'll be going to a little family dinner like we do every Friday. Mostly it's just things that need to get done. The dishes need to be put up, I need to do another load of laundry etc etc.
