Have you suffered a tooth decay, especially in your childhood?

Tooth decay, especially among young toddlers, were quite common among the kids of my generation. Young kids, who were particularly very fond of candies, were prone to tooth decay, especially of their milk tooth, also known as baby teeth or deciduous teeth. Fortunately, I never suffered any tooth decay because I wasn't very fond of candies, and my parents ensured that I brushed my teeth twice a day, and also gargle once a day with lukewarm saline water. Of course, I now use antiseptic mouthwash instead.

@dya80dya So what have the dentists advised? Do you need to extract the tooth or will root canal treatment suffice?
