I have to say I am not that excited about watching Game of Thrones, however a person closed to me literally begged me to take a look at one episode before dismissing it. So yes I am giving it a shot just to confirm what I might already know, that I don't like it. Even though when I was told most of the cast members have British accent, I was little excited to see, so tonight I am watching the first episode from the 1st season of GOT. Later on I will tell you what I think about... I hope you all have a good and pleasant night.

@Mavic123456 Really? I watched ep 1 from season one, and it's good, I am not saying i am already hooked on, but I will keep watching. I found out in April premieres the final season, thought there'll be a prequel so there is more on its way!

@Mavic123456 It'd be insteresting to read the books too. I am thinking of buying later. For now I am already hooked on the series, so let's see if i can be done by April when the final season premieres!

@sofssu Me too. I mean when I posted I thought people would be saying they were into the series, then I realized that not all of them are interested in watching, and some others did not like it.

It is good Alvin, i mean you have to be into these kinds of shows, I thought I wasn't, but I have watched 6 episodes, so it means It got my attention. It's good. Unfortunately I downloaded the series, but it doesn't have subtitles on, and I am sort of guessing some dialogues lol. But it's nice it helps me to understand more.

@Acefun Aww thanks for the advise. Don't worry I found a place that has the subtitles available to download for free. So, I just have to set up the player on my computer and then the subtitles are on the screen. Yey!

I do not have much time to spend on tv shows and I will not remember the storyline after a few months so I think it is not worth to invest time on it.
Perhaps you can roughly view and try to understand the show with English. You will get improve your English too. The show just aired on TV so it might need so time to get a version with different subtitle. Perhaps, you can search on Youtube whether there are people uploaded the subtitle that you prefer.

I love GOT and I've seen it on the very first day it was released on HBO as it is an original HBO tv series. I never thought it would become a hit and I'm still a fan of GOT. I convinced a French friend of mine to watch and he was amazed.
But each person are different. And if you don't understand the book, the family history of the characters, you'll never get it nor will you enjoy it.

Thank you @Shavkat, I have found out it's a Book and then HBO released the series. So far it's been okay, I love the outfits they wear and the accents. :)

@LadyDuck You know as I keep reading the comments I have realized the majority of people aren't into this show, and I used to believe it was a huge worldwide. Most people who have shared their opinion are from the States, which makes me wonder, that it's not a big deal over there.

@JudyEv so cute Judy. I don't think you're getting old, you look fabulous to me. I think there are certain shows that does not make us feel related to them. I wasn't even interested in watching, so I will keep seeing the series, once I am done I shall figure whether liking it or hating it. Thanks for stopping by!

It is so funny cause most people who commented are not into GOT. They claim they were neither hooked on the series, nor interested in watching.
