I mean really how often do you get to say that phrase? She was just elected, and I met her a few times at various functions. She says she will not take any salary until the shut down is over. Yay! You know if more members of congress would operate this way people would not have such a low opinion of them. Also, she did not vote for Nancy Pelosi for speaker. Even though I don't have a problem with NP she does seem to be a divisive figure for the country, it might have been better with someone else as speaker.

Congratulations, that is a rarity in our region. I never heard of our Congresswoman doing any laudable acts.
