Tiny Houses

I have watched some of the cable shows on people who have down sized from a regular size house to one of these small ones. I don't know that I would be able to live in a small space like these. I don't think these would work for people who do crafts where they need all their materials out. For empty nesters these might be the ticket. And, they can be mobile. But, one draw back is that most states don't have any laws that let residents establish these home on regular sized lots. I think they are very cute and enjoy the ways manufacturers have of saving space in some models. I think I would rather go with a normal sized house even though I don't have alot of stuff. Check out some of the models the link below shows. What do you think?

I have lived in too many small spaces in my life so this wouldn't be something I would want either. It's good for some though. =)

I watches that as well and some are mobile so I was having the fantasy of having an adventure with that with me.

Yes it is like going to tour without the need to leave your own home ever.

I think it’d be perfect for me. I’ve considered selling my house and moving into an RV. I laugh at the families with two kids and a cat trying it, though.

I think I could live in one as a camper but not full time as my house.

They are considered an RV when on wheels so the laws for living in them are strict even on your own land. Even my tiny house being built off a trailer is restricted and lot's of permitting, legal tape etc and we are in the forest. I have septic, well etc but it's on a hardship permit which allows it until I die then they have to reapply or take it off grid. It would have been better if I built a small regular house so it wouldn't have taken so long but I'm finally to the end and getting the security and other stuff finished for a 3 - 4 week finish or so I hope.
