Good day friends.
The throat still hurts me, but I hope it will soon stop me because hot water and salt help me.
Today it's warmer, the temperature is 2C and the snow slows down, but it still has a lot.
In 15 minutes, a girl I have to make up for is coming, because today is the Serbian New Year's Eve.
How is your day going?

Why is the Serbian new year on a different date than the traditional new year that most countries celebrate? I'm curious to know!
Oh, and Happy New Year to you my Serbian friend. I'm happy to know that the hot water and salt are helping your throat.

@Nevena83 Thank you for explaining. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the old Julian calendar. Now I know for sure!

@moffittjc Yes, I noticed that almost no one knew that there were people celebrating the old calendar.

Happy new year in your country. It must be very festive in your place.
What's the difference of Serbian new year compared to what we usually celebrate of new year.

Well so far so good..I have just been up about a half hour. Drink tea with honey and lemon too. That is really good for a sore throat and also helps to rid your throat of bacteria.
