Dinner Plans Changed

I talked about making chicken and dumplings in the crock pot today. But I changed my mind. We are having chicken, cream of mushroom soup, onions, and vegetables. Sort of like a chicken mushroom stew I guess you could call it.
It sure smells good. I love cooking in the crock pot. Just put everything in there and close the lid. I always, if time allows, cook whatever I am cooking on low for 5-6 hours. Sometimes, like today with the vegetables, I will turn it up to high for the last hour just to make sure the veggies are cooked. I do not like crunchy veggies.
How about you? What is everyone up to on this Sunday?

I don't like crunchy veggies either, unless they are raw.
I am making spaghetti and meatballs. I always add onion, green pepper and mushroom into my spaghetti. I am also going to add some basil and oregano. I have this fresh herbs squeeze container that I'll use for that.
Otherwise I am trying to finish this book. I had miscalculated the pages, but now I am down 50 pages to go. I need to fold the towels shortly as well and unload the dishwasher.

@CarolDM I don't usually do meatballs with spaghetti. I bought some already frozen though and want to try them. I think next time I might make my own meatballs and freeze them. We shall see.
Yes, ranch with celery is my favorite. I also like caramel and to dip apples in it. I don't do that often.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have bought frozen meatballs that were good. And yes those caramel apples are delicious.

I do use my crockpot at least once a week, today though it will be the oven for pork loin and roasted potatoes.

I am making beef stew in the crockpot. It is starting to smell good in here.
