A cool rainy day is really not very cool

I'm beginning to wonder if the rain is ever going to stop. (Maybe CCR could answer?

I think we're headed for the Biblical forty days and forty nights.
We did force ourselves to go out in the cold rain to go to Sunday School and church this morning, but bought lunch at a drive-thru and brought it home. I actually warmed up a bowl of homemade veggie soup from the freezer for my lunch.
The water from the river/creek/swamps is creeping closer and closer to our poor damaged garage. The adjuster is scheduled to come tomorrow morning and we're praying he'll make a good evaluation and get a check on the way to us.
Wouldn't it be something if the garage got flooded after everything else it's gone through?
Anyway, hope your Sunday afternoon is/was more comfortable than ours.

We have flood insurance and the damage is covered under that driver's insurance.
