Lake Baikal

This lake is located in southern Siberia and is the largest lake in Asia. It is approximately 3,893 feet below sea level and is about 5,387 feet deep. Being the oldest freshwater lake in the world it is estimated to be 20-25 million years old. Plants and animals that exist around this lake are not found anywhere else. It is a very famous lake but I haven't been there yet. I saw the pictures about Lake Baikal and it is really beautiful. It is also attractive even if in freezing winter.
