Today it's first day of new 2019 by Julian calendar

I guess many of you don't celebrate New Year today and many of you maybe don't even know it, but today is first day of new 2019. by Julian calendar. This calendar is 13 days difference with Gregorean, and Ortodox Christian use Julian calendar while other use Gregorean. This is why we celebrate Christmas on 7th of January and not 25th of December. And yes, by Julian calendar New Year is today, but most people celebrate it as well on 31st of December or celebrate on both dates. Also people here call it "Serbian New Year" but it's used in some other contries as well. There are rumors that they will move calendar again so we all celebrate on same date, but I don't know is that happening and when.
