Splish Splash...here are a few more of my favorite sea animal songs for you to solve. And to introduce today's trivia music quiz is Bobby Darin, who took this novelty tune to #3 on the charts in 1958, and then transformed himself later into a suave nightclub entertainer with his swinging rendition of "Mack The Knife." I bet today's sea animals also enjoy splashing around in their own personal tubs... So "move and groove" to this video as you figure out the songs and artists. Whodunnit? Here are your clues: 1. This song released in 1969 was written by this British band's drummer on a boating trip when he left in the middle of the group's 1968 recording sessions. His inspiration came from stories the Captain told him about how this animal traveled along the sea bed looking for shiny objects and stones with which to build gardens. The muscian thought about how tranquil a setting it must be for the animal, living beneath the ocean in calm waters, and this gave him the idea for the tune. After the band's break-up in 1970, this artist released several successful singles including the U.S. number-four hit "It Don't Come Easy", and two number one songs "Photograph" and "You're Sixteen." 2. The title of this tune came as a negative reaction by the band toward the record industry. The lyrics compared the sleasy side of music to a dangerous fish. This ray-finned fish known for its large size, fearsome appearance and ferocious behaviour was a perfect analogy to how their former record label attacked the two female sisters in this band. This hard rock group rose to fame in the 70's and after an early 80's decline, reemerged with a style change which produced a #1 album in 1985. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Bonus: This tune was written by one of the co-founders of this famous British foursome. The song's lyrics not only mention a sea species but other animals too. Also mentioned in the tune were a dog and pig. This track was one of many used in the band's psychedelic themed film. This song helped fuel the rumor that one of the band members was dead. Double Bonus: Today's video performer also scored another chart hit with his version of this water titled tune. The song has no mention of sea animals but does mentions birds (gulls maybe). Do you know the song? Alright, let's see if you can "seal" the deal and answer all of music trivia correct. If your stuck and need additional help just let me know in your response. "You've Got A Friend" if more clues are needed. As always, thanks for reading and responding to my music post !!!! I know the first one from the Beatles: "Ocotpus' Garden", it's a pretty old song. The first Bonus is also from the Beatles "I Am the Walrus".

@dgobucks226 I liked the Beatles, even if I liked more the Rolling Stones. Those you listed are not my favorite songs of The Beatles.

@LadyDuck I agree with you there. I definitely tend to enjoy their early music when many of their themes were about love.
