I have always enjoyed many genres of music. Bob Seger is at the top of my list. The song Turn the Page holds a special place in my heart. My cousin and best friend married a musician. When their band would play this song, the crowd would go crazy. They played small venues. But it was always great memories just the same.
Her husband sang and played guitar. And was very talented. He was later killed in a car accident. And my cousin could never listen to this song again. It was much too difficult. And I understand that.
Years later I find comfort in hearing the song done by Bob Seger. It has a calming effect as I hear the words. I remember the good times I had with my cousin, her husband and the band with their beautiful music. I also lost her in a car accident years later.
Music is definitely food for the soul. Agree?

@CarolDM As a matter of fact, I have never been a Seger fan. Liked a few of his songs.

I definitely agree with that statement about music! I don't get to listen as much these days but I enjoy it when I do.
And that's a great song! Thank you for sharing about it!

How very sad and tragic that they both passed due to an automobile accident.
I have always been a big fan of Bob Seger, and this is my favorite song.
Seeing him sing it live on the stage at Cobo in Detroit is one of my best memories.
That sax solo is unreal, and so cool when you hear it live.

I'm glad that the song can bring back good memories for you and very understandable that she couldn't listen to the song anymore as I have a song like that also.
