Something I sketched.....

When I was in high school I was always drawing something. I took an art class every year since 8th or 9th grade.
This is one of the things I sketched, a flower....that was one of the things I was better at sketching.
What do you think of my little flower sketch?
Do you draw/sketch? Have you done it in the past?

That's a pretty flower and I used to draw all the time and just stopped on day, my dad was the artist in the family..I will have to show you his work.

I use to but I mostly do my designs on the computer now. I like the shading and depth. It is really well done.

Well that is good, and I think drawing can help prepare for doing designs on the computer. And I am glad you like the shading and depth, I was never the best at that but I always tried!

Drawing is very important, it's the basis before any coloring is done especially when doing realism, it's also the basis for light and shadows, light tones, middle tones and dark tones, you're sketch is beautiful.

That is very true, I think I learned about all of that in my art classes over the years, but that was over 10 years ago lol. And thank you, I am glad you think it is :)

Nice sketch. I love to draw but I am better at just coloring. Now just add some color and you'll have a beautiful painting.
