Doctor's appointment

They took my blood pressure as soon as I got there and it was perfect. She was quite pleased about that. I got all my prescriptions refilled for another three months. She told me that from the xrays I had done that I have degenerative disc disease in my neck that is what is causing a lot of my pain in my neck and shoulders. I also have arthritis in my back. I had more xrays done on my hands. She is sending me to see a specialist about my hands because of all the pain i have been having, I will also have to see a nerve doctor. Plus i have to book my annual mammogram. So a few more appointments yet but at least i am better understanding why I have been in so much pain.

Oh gosh Laurel that is a lot to deal with. Sorry to hear it but yes good to know what is going on. Are they going to give you anything that actually works for pain. How is your sister doing.

Thanks, not anything right now. I was told just to take Tylenol but when no see the specialist he will decide what I should do.

Sorry your going through such pain. Hopefully, they can find a treatment plan to ease your suffering. I have a bad back so I understand.

I know a guy who used liquid ibuprofen on his arthritic hands, and he says it's like magic on his hands.

That is good news about your blood pressure. It can be a relief to know what is causing your symptoms even if it isn't such good news.
