2019 Health Journey -- Day 15 (January 15th)

Day 15 has come to an end, so I am back to share another update on my food and blood sugars.
Fasting blood sugar today: 99
Before I ate any food, I did my workout. I like to do it while fasting. --Blood sugar an after working out went up to 138. Kind of high, but I know that is expected after working out. My numbers were not high the rest of the day!
Meal 1 (not till about 12:30 even though I was up since 7 A.M.) - A low carb wrap (low carb tortilla, ham and cheese).
- blood sugar was 76 after
Meal 2 (7:30 PM) - Quesadilla (2 low carb tortillas, 2 servings of shredded cheddar jack cheese)
4 slices of bacon
and "dessert" of a mix of peanut butter, butter, and erythritol, it's just delicious!
- blood sugar was 69 after (low number, but don't feel low).

1,239 calories
57 protein
86 fat
52 carbs - 29 fiber
(23 net carbs)
- More carbs than I'd like, but I just felt like having the tortilla shells today and they didn't spike my sugar, so I am happy about that.
32 ounces of water today...Not enough but more than usual.

1 hour of Zumba
Burned 505 calories (according to my Fitbit)
9,706 steps
How did you all do today? Have anything good on the menu? Did you work out?

I definitely agree. It is keeping my sugars low :)
