Lunch SKIPPED

Well I had a nice day at school, teaching, mylotting and correcting copies. Just before our dismissal, we teachers, were supposed to make a list of students who didn't preform well, review their performance for the last 2 exams and also upload it in the school computer system.
Why we were not told earlier is another story.. Anyways, it never happened before and we decided to co-operate. The result was, we skipped our lunch. At around 4:30 pm, after we were done, all of us went to the school canteen and had wadas, samosas and some other random snacks.. But it was fun.. I know it sounds weird but it was fun..
We were no longer in a hurry to go home and thought of just sitting there for some more time and chit-chat..

@Sheali I admire all you teachers have to do. I feel like you often have to sacrifice your breaks due to helping students and going through their work.

ha ha just had snacks without taking lunch. As a banker i too most of the time skip my lunch. It is advisable not to skip it if possible

We do have the same profession. Really the struggle of a teacher. I experience the same thing several times.
