Salespersons are so Helpful

This morning, my husband and I went to the mall to have our counter top water filter checked why it is not functioning well. It malfunctioned after my husband cleaned the washable filters, but he did not know how to fit it well. So I said we should buy another filter cartridge or have the whole setup checked by the salespersons. So they offered to clean it well first because the cartridge is washable. They transformed the already brownish filter to white again! They also said we can use local lemon instead of soap in cleaning the cartridge to avoid chemical contamination of our drinking water. Such a nice idea! We asked how much we will pay! And they said it's for free, so my husband gave them a little money to show our gratitude for their service, and because we saved a lot instead of buying a new filter cartridge. Such nice act gave us good vibes for the day!

Maybe it was for free because it was still under warranty. Yes, when salespersons are helpful we cannot help giving them some tokens or some money to express our gratitude. Even in banks, when i was still a teller , some clients would give us tellers very nice gifts. You can see who is the teller that is so most amiable by the number of gifts she receive.

Maybe it is still under warranty; yes, that's good customer relations they are doing. So, what bank did you work before? My son also gets many gifts from clients even after Christmas.

@acelawrites I worked at Unionbank for more than 15 years before. I resigned and rested and become a plain housewife for more than 2 years.

Maybe they are experts in such customer relations; the reason why many people patronize the store.

that's the kind of customer service that you'll want to share with others when the topic comes up. so now, your hubby knows how to put them back correctly.

There are salesmen who are good, there are others who do not seem to like their job, too.

What a lovely thing to happen and how nice of the salespeople to clean your filter for free. I'm sure you'll be going there again if you ever need anything in that line.

Giving them some rewards encourages them to render good service to their customers, although it is but part of their job.
