Last Saturday, we visited a small museum in a new village. I think new villages only happened in Malaysia, they were formed to segregate the villagers from the Communist Party.
There was a tour guide showing us around the museum, telling us the history of that new village, and also bringing us to walk a short distance in the new village.
Though I already knew a little bit about "new village" and I have been visiting this new village many times, I have learned more from the tour guide, and it's nice to see the tools being used in those old days.
As my eldest son is supposed to learn local history and geography this year, I think this visit is a perfect lesson for him and for me too, though it might be a bit boring for my two younger children. They had fun looking at those old things too.
Do you like to visit museum?

@JudyEv It's the same here too. We found out my grandfather still kept some old stuffs when he passed away, so we kept some of the them. I recognized the iron being used to iron the clothes, as my aunt was having one, but it's no longer being used.

@Happy2BeMe That's nice. I heard that the national museum in Taiwan changes every 3 months, I always wish I can visit that museum every 3 months to see different ancient things. I don't know many museums do this too.
