writer's block

I am usually full of words for nearly every occasion, but today I am aiming to write a letter to my husband in jail, and I got nothing. I sent the request to connect last night, they have something called jail mail here, and the inmates can read and respond on a tablet. I have some stamped envelopes also but I just can't sit down and write. I can write about writing instead, but I am still teary eyed from last night, I had to pull his mugshot to get his inmate number and I miss him like crazy. I have found a ride to go to his next court date, on the sixth of next month we will find out if they will extradite. It's just a misdemeanor so I am praying for time served. He will be in for three weeks and then they will decide if they will extradite to another county. He will hopefully just get time served and be released in a month.

I am sorry you are having to go through with that, and I hope that everything works out and he gets out soon. I think once maybe the shock of it all wears off, I think you will find the strength to write down your feelings. Best of luck to you and your husband
