Triscuit Has a New Flavor

Triscuit has apparently brought out a new flavor and darling daughter saw them just before Christmas, but decided that there was no way in... well you know. The flavor is Nutmeg and Cinnamon and after a second, put the box back on the shelf... But she did tell me about them and yesterday we went to the same store and there they were!! I of course bought a box!!
I did walk by them a couple of times before deciding that I was going to give them a try! You know me and my love of cinnamon. Well, I like nutmeg too so how could I go wrong?? I just opened them up and I'm munching on one right now. I wanted you guys to be the first to know!! I love them!! Darling daughter even took one out the box, took a bite and then handed it back to me. "They are disgusting!"
Has anyone given these a try? You have me curious!! Am I the only one who is going to buy up the rest of store's supply because apparently the same number of boxes that were there before Christmas... are still there as of yesterday!!
Have to ask lol...

LOL... I got the box for 1.25... not sure they can go any lower. I don't think that they were selling well in regular stores, so they were shipped off to Dollar Stores... and they aren't selling there either ;)

Not sure I would go for these. I would have to try a sample first..Most of the funky triscuit flavors I don't like.

I have not tried them but I'm a big cinnamon fan so I might just like them!

I found them at the dollar store so I was willing to waste a whole 1.25 if I had to!! So, give them a try!!

Oh... that is sad. My only problem with some of the flavors is the fact that there is too much salt... those flavors I avoid!

I liked them... just a tad of salt made them perfect. I can't imagine what topping you would use on them though! I've been eating them plain!

@KristenH You are talking about Tricuits in general right... Something tells me the nutmeg/cinnamon variety wouldn't work with cheese lol! But hey, you just never know!!

@Hate2Iron I've had them plain or with spray cheese. I've seen commercials when they use a variety of toppings.

The grocery owner would love you for patronizing what seems to be not salable product. But I guess it really tastes nice because you love it.

I had them again this afternoon with Ginger and Lemongrass Tea... and it worked!! And my blood sugar didn't drop at all!!

sounds like me. i like things sometimes no one else does and i think great, now i won't have to worry it will be all gone when i want more. but guess what? soon as i get addicted to one certain thing, everyone else suddenly loves it and there hardly is any more to find.

They aren't too bad. I had some of them last year, but they're definitely not for everyone.
