Loneliness, are you some one facing problem of loneliness / myLot

I am disable person, can't walk and hear. I spending most of time at home. I have not too much friends. No one is coming to me and I am also not going to any one. I am living with my family and I have all things which is we need to pass time. But I feeling that meeting with outsider is also necessary. I have not any problem with friends but theirs priorities are changed. I am not of their profession. Do any of you face this situation.[em]

I am sorry that you are feeling lonely, interact with people Is good and maybe If you go out more often It will help you.

Yes you are right but It is not easy for me to go out. Interaction for a deaf is not easy work.

I live alone but go to a place of worship two times a week and so interact with people and also go out shopping and meet people along the way.

@anil02 I sympathize with you situation. In the seventies, I learned sign language and became a translator for a group of deaf people in my congregation and enjoyed the privilege to be of help. Do you know sign language?

@1hopefulman No I don't know. I can speak so I never tried for it. With sign language I can interact only with deaf mute peoples.I am interested in lip reading.

I am not living alone, living with family, but it is some what tough for me to go outside. I can't walk. I can't listen so I can't interact with outsider. Most of peoples who know that I am hearing impaired don't like to talk with me

You may be right, very few peoples come to visit my family and most of not interact with because I am hearing impaired.

No. I dont face the same problems. But i have other problem. Maybe you can start befriending people. There are people out there who can understand your situation.

Oh it is problem. Attitude of peoples are not good for disable peoples. I want to spend time with peoples but what I can do when they ignore me.

@fluffy69 What you right all thing is right. we can clap with two hands. If I go to meet friends that it is must that they come to me. I am not useful for any one, So why my friends come to meet me.

Thank fully not.. See it all depends on how you see life.. I can do many things on my own like gardening, dance, paint and now I am here.. I agree you sometimes need people but try to think of other things to be happy.. dogs also make very good friends..

Gardening painting are good means of time pass, But it is not helpful is social life. I can do only online work and interact with people on internet.

I am really sorry to hear about that. Even I feel lonely when I am on board ship, away from family and social life. But some things cannot be helped. We have to go with the tide.
