Shh. It's very early and we must be very quiet so as not to wake the missus.
What a week it was. Very busy. Is it just me, or has time picked up its pace and now seems to be flying by at breakneck speed?
Wasn't it just Christmas? Now January is more than half over. It'll be spring before we know it.
Yesterday was a fun day for me. I attended a seminar on Children's Literature at the behest of my principal. The day flew by as we covered at least 3 dozen new children's books for grades PreK through 4. The speaker was dynamic and fun to listen to.
I hope you have all been doing well. Do you have any special plans for the weekend?

Glad to hear you attended such a worthy seminar. A dynamic speaker makes them much more exciting.
I will be enjoying the pool today and have dinner plans with friends tonight. I just returned from the gym, showered, and am having coffee.

No plans for me my boyfriend is going ice fishing today with friend so I will be doing some movie watching and reading while he is gone and some mylotting. Glad your seminar was good and that you enjoyed it

When I lived in New Hampshire, I knew many fellows who enjoyed ice fishing. The idea never appealed to me.
Some of them had very nice bob houses, as they called them, complete with heaters and generators, TV, microwave, and coffee makers.

@DWDavis Wow fancy. I don’t like it but when he has nobody to go with him I go but I bribe him he has to get me snacks which includes chocolate and anything else and we have heat and our Bluetooth speaker so I am set til we go home

At the seminar I learned that there are a lot of great writers out there producing terrific books for pre-readers, beginning readers, and early readers. There are so many great books and some wonderful materials and lesson plan ideas to accompany them that I just wish we had the budget to get them all.

Yes, going to a party tomorrow, one that was supposed to have taken place at Christmas time, but was cancelled due to the weather. Bad weather expected for this one too, but it might be reasonably decent in the afternoon when this takes place.
