Strange phone conversation.............

This is my sweet Mykey, I lost him in July 2015. I took this shot of him when he was about 3 years old.

As you probably guessed the picture of Mykey, my sweet pup, has nothing to do with this discussion. Mykey is now among my guardian angels and boy do I miss all of them. Ok, now for the strange phone conversation: My friend called a repair company to inquire about pricing but at the time she called the man was busy and asked if he could call her the next day, she agreed. So the next day he calls and wants to come to her house to see the problem but that wasn't what she intended so she tells him all she wanted was to get some kind of idea what the price range would be. To her surprise this fellow began telling her all about himself. How he's a hard worker, has been divorced for 18 years, doesn't go to bars and that he thinks they could become good friends. She was laughing while she was telling me all this, she's married and even her husband thought it was funny. I think it's hilarious. What do you think?

That's what my friends husband said. If that man keeps doing that he will lose customers.

Gosh, he was really wishful thinking wasn't he? I hope she tried to find someone else.

Her husband looked into his company and has complained to a cop friend of his, I'm not sure if they'll do anything though. As for Carol, she's looking for other possibilities but they still laugh about it and it is funny in a creepy way.

She does have a pleasant voice @JudyEv but I don't know if men would hear it differently.

@rebelann She must have had a very enticing voice but I agree it's a bit creepy.

This sort of thing happens a lot to me and I think it’s really very unprofessional. Good thing your friend took it lightly and did not report him.

Well, she did tell her husband and he in turn told his friends. I get the feeling that guy won't get much business after this.

@rebelann He must be really lonely or desperate but still he should separate work calls from dating.

I find that very odd behavior and would call someone more professional. Beautiful photo.

Don't worry, Carol's husband has a few friends who'll be checking this guy out as well, one thing is for sure none of them will ever hire the guy to do work for them.

I hope she told him she was happily married. I don't think kindly of those kinds of calls.

He didn't call her, she called him because he is supposed to be a repair shop. I think her husband and a few of his friends are checking him out and will most likely straighten him out. I'm not going to ask Carol to tell me what happened.

Oh, I have plenty of trust, I trust people to do just what they do but I'm driving my own car to the parties ..... not that I go to any.

That is a possibility. Who knows. I got the impression that he might be a lonely man who wants to make female friends. I am glad I did not speak to him.

Carols husband found the shop she called and had a talk with him, that business won't get a lot of business from them or any of their friends.

I agree but it is funny. My friend has a good sense of humor but you can bet that guy has lost her and her husband as a potential clients
