It Wasn't Supposed to Happen

It wasn't even on the predictor. However, when I went to bed last night, it was snowing, and when I got up this morning, it was still snowing.
When I looked at the forecast, hoping for an updated one, the predictor showed the winter advisory line south of Green Bay. We weren't supposed to get a snowflake, yet we did.
It was a light snow. It covers the grass, almost. It makes my world look beautiful.
I also saw the advisory went from Wisconsin to Maine, so I know many of you are in that area and getting snow. What did you wake up to this morning?

You had just enough to make the area pretty. We have below zero C temperatures and we are supposed to get snow later this afternoon. We'll see!

@just4him It started during Saturday night and it snowed all day Sunday and we had about 10 inches of snow. It made a mess.

I woke to snow too and my husband says we may get up to three inches. We will see. I need to get dressed soon and begin to work at shoveling what's here already. There may be enough to get the snow blower out later on, but maybe not. After this it's supposed to get chillier, so it won't be melting as quick as it has thus far this winter. I'm glad the line moved up to where you are so you can enjoy looking at it.
Since there's no guarantee it may stay, you may want to take a spot looking out the window rather than at your new toy or your computer, lol.

@Elizaby When a blizzard is called for, they start shutting everything down. That was a three-day blizzard in April and school were canceled and pretty much everything was canceled. The only people working were the plows trying to keep the streets clear for emergency vehicles.

That must make your little snow lovin heart happy! I don't think we will get any snow..that is mostly across the Northern tier, but ice isn't out of the question!

@Courtlynn The receptionist at the pool told me the squirrels had skinny scrawny tails. I didn't want to believe her. I saw a squirrel this morning. It was across the street. It had a skinny scrawny tail. Warm winter, very little snow. I need those tails fat and bushy.
That's based on years of observation. Not on the Farmers Almanac or any other intuitive weather person.

I wake with lots of thoughts on my mind regarding how, I would start off with my day , that's all. I was really in the house all the time. I could see onyl some fog outside , my house when the wooden window door opened for some time by our maid to reach out to our balcony.

Woke up to about 3 feet of snow (from the last week) and temps -12 with a -30 windchill... That's my morning! Tomorrow morning just as cold, they've already started delaying schools.

I was just commenting to someone about snow. Of course, here in Florida we don't have to worry but just that amusing thought that if we woke up one morning and there was snow no one would know what to do
