Trying to Keep Ahead

I've been here off and on today, trying to keep a little bit ahead without falling too far behind. My notifications have been in the 200+ ballpark. Right now they're hovering around 150. Hopefully, it means I won't see 200 again. I've been trying to write but having a hard time with it. So, I watched a movie, a familiar one, and listened to the dialogue. Now, I'm ready to write again, I hope and not be so critical of my work. I'm my own worst critic. I'm planning to work on a book for the next couple of hours and hope to be back for one last hurrah before I go to bed. It's been a good day, though the one thing I haven't done yet is laundry. No word from my son all week. I told him to call me, so either he worked the whole week or he was super busy on his days off. Tomorrow we're getting into the subzero temps for wind chills and single digits for regular temps. I'm debating whether to turn the heat down tonight when I go to bed, which I normally do. I do have my winter sheets on the bed, so it should be fine. Tuesday we have another round of snow, and this time it will hit Green Bay. We're expecting 4-6 inches depending on which model you look at. The US one has us at 6 inches. I hope so. Right now I'm within 22 hours of notifications, so I hope to be back to clear up the last couple of hours before I go to bed.
