I Ordered My NKOTB Tickets Last Weekend!

Hey there, everyone! I meant to post this several days ago, but I just never got around to doing so lol. So I ordered my tickets to see my favorite group, New Kids On The Block, last weekend. I was able to get them earlier than I thought I would thanks to the birthday money I got from my Mom and Ticketmaster gift card I got from my sister. I'll be seeing them at the Hersheypark Stadium in July, and this will be my third time seeing them. :) I decided not to go with floor seats after all. All the really close seats were either too much or sold out, and I'm too short to sit that far back. I thought about it, but there is no guarantee I'd be sitting anywhere they'd come close to (providing they go into the crowd like they have done at past shows), and I would like to actually see the stage, and I wanted the same for whoever goes with me (in this case, my best friend). I'm going to attach a link to the seating chart at the bottom of this post, but we're in the first row of section 5. The Hersheypark Stadium is a smaller venue than most places, and the stands are not that far off the ground (unless you get seats further back, of course), so there's always a chance I'll score a high-five out of the deal lol. And if not, it's no big deal, I'm just happy to be going to the show. :) This is the same place I saw them for the first time in 2016, at the Mixtape Festival, with my best friend (the second time I saw them was in DC with my two sisters). In addition to NKOTB, the line-up also includes Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Salt-n-Pepa and Naughty By Nature, and it's called the Mixtape Tour. :) We were in section 6 back in 2016, which is a section closer to the stage, but we were also in one of the last rows (still not bad seats though), as opposed to the first row of section 5. I'm hoping they use the platforms they used back in 2016, which was positioned between those two sections (there were two on each side of the venue and one in the middle; each guy stood on a platform for two songs). We'll see what they have planned though. Unlike the other venues, they're not using a second stage at the Hersheypark Stadium, I'm guessing because of the size of the venue. Of course I'm excited about the show, I just didn't show as much when I bought the tickets or set the ride in stone because of this stupid cough, but I'm sure I'll be bouncing off the walls in a few months lol. :) Anywho, I can't wait to see my boys again this summer! There's not much else to say right now, so I'm going to wrap this up. I have another post in mind and would like to get it posted soon, so I can get off my laptop. Take care, everyone! :) Photo Credit: I snapped these photos at the NKOTB show I attended in DC (in 2017). The collage was made by me.

Where do you live? I went to Hershey Park once but it's hours from me so I have never taken my kids. I remember it was so huge and everything decorated with Hershey kisses etc was adorable. I loved that place. I didn't know they did concerts there. Wow the line up is all things that take me back to being in elementary school. I am so excited for you getting to see this show!

@tammys85 my daughter likes concerts but I really am not a big fan of them. I don't like all the people and loud noise. Baltimore is a busy city. My brother in law and his wife live in Maryland but only about 15 minutes into the state.

@shaggin Oooh. These days, I only go to concerts if it's someone I REALLY want to see, i.e., New Kids On The Block. I wanted to get some cheap seats for Backstreet Boys and tell my younger sister to go with me, but the LOWEST price at the same venue in Hershey is $100ish. I'm like "Excuse me?!?" NKOTB's lowest price was $30, and whoever decides on BSB's busted out with $100, and this is all before fees lol. Yeah, Baltimore is a busy place, especially the downtown/harbor area. I don't always notice it because I've lived here all my life, but I know it can be busy.

I live in Baltimore, Maryland, it's about a two hour drive from Hershey. I've only been to the theme park once, back in the 90s, and then again at the stadium for NKOTB in 2016, so this is only my third time in Hershey. I think it's still decorated in a Hershey theme though. :) Yeah there is a small stadium they use for concerts and sporting events. I think there's also an arena too, but I'm not 100% sure. Awww thank you so much! They're coming all over the place if you want to see if they're coming near you, it's called the Mixtape Tour (it's also listed on NKOTB.com). The last time I saw them, they toured with Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul, and that was a lot of fun. I've never seen anyone on this tour in person, outside of NKOTB.

Awesome. Is section 5 - E? They were all letters. E looked close.

Thanks! It's near E but it's in the stands. If it loads, here's a bird's eye-view of it. I'm in the stands, four sections from the stage (on the left), but in the first row. And the stage is usually a little bigger than what's shown in this picture.

@just4him Yeah, it's a small one though. But since I'm short, floor seats further back may have turned out to be frustrating.

@tammys85 I didn't realize it was a football stadium.

Thank yoooou! I haven't started bouncing off the walls yet, but sometimes it takes a while for me, since the concert isn't until July. If you can get tickets later, I totally recommend it. They put on one heck of a show!

@Courtlynn Right lol. Mine are mobile tickets though, so I need to put the app on my phone. I'll probably delete Snapchat to make sure there's room on it. I don't NEED to "snap" during the concert. Anywho, I got a surge of excitement today. Not to sound biased, but I'd recommend it. Their shows are a lot of fun.

Thank you sooo much! Yeah, I don't wanna annoy anyone on other websites, so I'm not counting down until the tour begins. The tour kicks off May 2nd, it's fair game lol.

@MommyOfEli2013 Awww thanks! I think it's 160 days or so, that's a pretty big countdown lol. I think starting it when they kickoff the tour would be a good choice for me. I don't want time to move too quickly, I'm not finished getting ready lol. Plus I have a few other things to look forward to before then. :)
