2019 Health Journey -- Day 19 (January 19th)

Hello everyone, here is another day of my health journey...all my food and blood sugars to show you my progress. FBS: 154. Much higher than I would like, not sure why it rose so much, maybe I slept too much (can that affect it?) Meal 1: Quesadilla with low carb tortillas and cheddar and colby jack cheese Also added a little chicken deli meat (12 net carbs for the meal) BS: 92 Meal 2: Low carb fat head pepperoni pizza - 2 slices BS: 83 Snack: Mix of peanut butter, butter, cream cheese and sugar free chocolate syrup (one without the nasty maltitol) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Macros: Calories: 1,209 Protein: 61 Fat:95 Carbs: 60 Fiber: 35 Net carbs: 25 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blood sugar averages: 113 -14 day average 124 - 30 day average Not too bad for the last 2 weeks, and 1 month averages. I wish it had 3 months on my meter so I could see a bigger picture of what my a1c might be (since it measures the last 3 months or so). I didn't work out, as you can see....but next week I will try to get my goal of 5 days. So....how did you do today? Did you have anything good? Did you workout?

I think sleep don't affect it but It was something you eat, a lot of things have hidden sugar on It.

Having a diet helps a lot cause eating healthy is required. However try to work out and you will see results within a month I assure you. I don't watch that much what I eat, I just work out as hard as I can, and that seems to be good enough! Good luck Courtney on getting a healthy and active life! It certainly does good to your life.

Well I eat healthy as I can, for me that's low carb. And I'm working out a few times a week. I agree though. And that's good to hear

@jvicentevalera That's why I make low carb desserts, although they are never as good as the real thing!

@MommyOfEli2013 Same here. However I can't help getting into bakeries and pick at least a dessert. I have to do it every now and then, otherwise I would be in a bad mood.

I did my walks yesterday and did good with my eating. Today I will get a workout just getting through the snow to do the critters.
