It is going to be an icy mess in the morning

We didn't get a lot of snow but we had about 3-4 hours of freezing rain then it changed over to heavy rain. That is what it is doing now. There is a lot of water down. The temperatures are suppose to drop over night so come morning it will all look like one big skating rink or there. Not looking forward to going out to go to work in the morning.
Dinner turned out good so I happy about there. There are lots of leftovers for a few more meals.
The weekend flew by too fast as always. Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday.

Glad we got snow and just a little sleet on top of that, then back to snow. At least you can see it as you are driving. I hate freezing rain and ice.

We got snow then it turned to rain then back to snow so we had two inches on the bottom of the snow of very heavy slush. As soon as I shoveled the bottom layer froze. My sidewalk and entire driveway is all ice. It is supposed to get below freezing tonight with a wind chill of 20°. The weather you have there sounds really bad! I hope you do not lose electricity. If you have to go outside be very careful!

Make sure that you are carful tomorrow when you have to go to work, awesome to have leftovers that will last a few days.
