I taped one of the songs from the concert

Many of you know we held an outdoor concert here a few days ago. Several had asked if we’d be taping any of it. With just the two of us running the show, there is rarely time to do any video-taping but because several had asked I tried to tape two songs with my camera. The quality isn’t that good and I was trying to get the moon in the photo. You can see the laser lights in the trees. The song is ‘Starry, starry night’ by Don McLean and was sung at Vince’s request. I suppose I should have panned the camera around to show the audience but I didn’t think of it. Maybe next time.

I heard on other comments that there was to be a blood moon. I'm glad you saw it. Did you have to stay up to see it?

@JudyEv I did not stay up, the blood moon was from 4:30 to 8:00 am here. I woke up at 5 and I went to check outside. Cold, very cold!

It's a great song isn't it? The duo also did a great version of Rawhide in Scottish then Cantonese. It was pretty funny.

It's summer here now and we were lucky to have a really nice,warm evening. One rarely goes out in the evenings here without a jumper as it can get very chilly. Edit: I didn't recognise the new avatar - very nice.
