Peach cobbler is one of many favorite desserts. This is an old recipe from my dear Grandmother. I make it often. A cup of flour, milk and sugar and a large can of peaches. Great memories of my Momma making blackberry cobbler using the wild blackberries we would pick for her. Have a good day everyone.

@popciclecold Yes you should. Just melt a stick of butter in a baking dish, pour in the batter, fold in the peaches and cook for one hour.

That sounds wonderful . I've only done peach cobblers from fresh peaches - I'll have to try with the can/jar ones since it's not the season! The berry one sounds really good - but I wouldn't know where to get wild blackberries!

I wold love fresh peaches but the canned ones are a substitute. Blackberries grew wild growing up.

@carolDm I’ll have some, and when I’ve eaten my fill and there’s no more room in me just pour it over me and rub it in. Peach cobbler is just so comforting.

I use a similar recipe often. My husband is not diabetic but his sugar is high and so I always use half sugar and half stevia for this recipe. That makes the recipe fairly low in sugar. We either use fresh peaches that we get locally or those we have frozen from the previous summer.

Peach cobbler is really good. I also like blackberry cobbler. Not sure I have had pear cobbler..but I am wondering why my grandmother didn't make it..they used to have a huge pear tree in their yard. They had to get rid of it though eventually, because no one would use the fruit. Pears would fall and rot and attract bees.
