She was so angry at her husband who is jobless and a drunkard! So she left him for good after so many times that she gave her the chance to reform. The man always create trouble and even hurt her whenever he gets drunk. So she is now left to support her four children who are still so young. I pity the woman! But she is determined not to reconcile again with the husband. Do you think she made the right decision?

@acelawrites Every abusive person asks for forgiveness. It is up to the other to say no. Specially if there are children.

@acelawrites A drunkard will always be a drunkard, unfortunately they become addicted.

It was a right decision though it could be so hard for her; and the children now hate their father for being a drunkard.

Yes, she did make the right decision. It takes courage, but many others have done the same thing and did just fine. He'll never change, and it's not good for the kids either.

It is true; I knew a friend who was in the same boat; she left the husband and now her children are successful because they knew the sacrifices of their mother.

I agree, the husband did not learn his lesson even he was forgiven so many times in the past.

Actually, I did the exact same thing, except I had two children. If the drinker doesn't get professional help, things will more than likely only get worse for that family. Separating is what they needed to do, if he refuses to change directions.

He had undergone some psycho-cleansing process for some months, so the woman agreed to live with him again, but this time, he fell back into the vice again.

@acelawrites That's what happens, in most cases. They get dried out and then, go right back to it.

@acelawrites I hope she doesn't ever go back to him. Abusive husbands are terrible and do not deserve to be a husband and a father.

She now stays with her mother, who will also look for the youngest child of two when she is out working. She said if the husband seek reconciliation, she will not be swayed.

She should have left her abusive husband, the moment she hit her. The nerve of that husband! Jobless and yet he would drink and hit her when drunk already. He deserves to be in jail. I hope the wife can find a good job to support her 4 children.

@acelawrites She should and ask for the free legal services so her husband can be forced to find a job and give a monthly support.

She has a job as a massage therapist, but she should find so many regular clients to support her four children. I told her she should demand support from the husband.

Absolutely correct. Nobody have the right to hurt anyone physically. Her husband tortured her and drunked. He should be punished.

Oh man, the one who is supposed to provide comfort & safety for his wife & kids is the one who is giving them suffering & fear. I hate this type of guy. She absolutely made the right decision. As for guys like this, I've met one once & I got into trouble because I've let him know in his face that I hate his stench.
