Good morning, friends.
My eyes are better and I already put the eye drops and the cream. I´ll have them open for a while and then I´ll be back in bed, resting with my eyes closed. That is mainly because the cream hurts my eyes.
Today it is my favorite aunt´s birthday. I will not go to the tea that will be offered for her. I do not care to see some of my relative who will be there.
But I just called her and sang to her by the phone
. She was very happy.
I am glad that this year she chose to stay in Santiago for her birthday. Last year and the year before I went with her to her cottage by the beach. But this was very near where the earthquake was and although nothing happened to her house, still she would have been terrified. She did not go before because I could not go with her this year and she only got a companion from next week on.
I sang Las Mañanitas, a folk song in Spanish to her. She was so happy

I talked to her for a long while over the phone. Many of my relatives are nosy and I am a freak in this moment.
