Taco Salad

Got back home from my errands. And yes I had lunch while out. I had a taco salad. It is has been awhile. They are so good and you eat the crispy shell as you are eating the taco.
The salad had all of my favorites.... sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and more cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and ground beef. The shell was so light and crispy, perfectly cooked.
Do you like taco salads? I could only eat half. The other half came home with me for dinner. Always good to be back home.

We used to have this stainless steel bowl that you were meant to put a corn shell over to "shape" the shell into a bowl as it baked. I think we used it once or twice, and I'm pretty sure we ended up getting rid of it.
I love taco salads, especially guacamole! I love tomatoes so it would have to have lots of guac, tomatoes and some sour cream.

@CarolDM One of the restaurants I go to? They do their guac chunky. It's delicious, squares of guac not creamed with a bit of creamed guac in between and of course the small tomatoes and onion or whatever is involved in making guac.

My mom loved the ones from taco bell. Almost anytime she was in town she would have to get one.

That is good that you got to enjoy a taco salad. I'd skip the guac, lettuce and tomatoes...but sounds good!

I LOVE taco salads the way my husband makes them. =) We have tortilla chips, lettuce, chili, ranch and shredded cheese on top!! So delicious and we haven't had them in a bit.
