Conclusion: You must to be an alien!
Have you ever had the feeling that people who are generally not adept at any kind of social media are viewed in a differentiated way? I mean, almost as if they were strange people on our planet?
What do you think about this and... Are you adept at some of them or do you do more the alien style of living life?

same here. i know i'm the exception to the rule since i don't have any of those, so i'm always surprised when i come across people who don't have/never had any, either.

You know what? I really honestly think the world would be a better place without all this high tech stuff and social media. I admit I have facebook, but it's getting kinda old for playing around with I only have an account to keep in touch with people I like. I don't do instagram or twitter. I guess it's because there's so much drama and I could be spending my time doing things that are more productive. And don't get me started on chat rooms - I avoid them like the plague.
I often tell my husband I wish things are like they were in the 60s 70s and 80s. I mean things were much more simple back then, everyone was outside meeting people in real life, there wasn't all that crazy consumerism nonsense. Now the internet is so vital in business and economy that governments are actually declaring the internet as necessary, no longer a luxury.
I would choose the alien way of living if I could. Seriously.

I have facebook but am not tied to it. I never use it on my phone only on the laptop. I dont like all of the notifications on the phone. I dont need to know every second what people are doing.

Guess you can call me an alien also. I'm not on Instagram or Twitter and rarely even look at Facebook anymore.

Social media has a lot of information we can share about ourselves, photos, events, and etc...
If most of us have accounts in such, and a few don't, it makes them different. I know some who are so nice but they don't have a fb account. The only way to meet them is in real life. I wish our social media would encourage us to meet more often in real life than in the social media. We are all connected but disconnected. I can send message to a relative of mine, and get ignored...:-(
