I went out to just check some figures, then some of my friends suggested that we should help out another friend, in harvesting tomatoes. We agreed and went to that part of farm, filled with tomatoes and have ourselves pick the ripe ones. We cannot help ourselves not to get excited as we saw those red tomatoes on the ground. I have picked a lot, but took home on what i can only consume. I said that the experience was priceless and the best to take home, the tomatoes are just bonus. Another random idea, another fun afternoon. Have you experience picking up vegetables too?

Oh yes, and it was so much fun. Whenever our backyard garden has lots of veggies ready for picking, I really take the time to go there and pick them myself. I picked have lady fingers , tomatoes , bitter gourd and others. Those tomatoes looks so delicious. I like slicing them, putting some chopped onions, drops of lemon and some chopped Thai chilis as deep for my fried fish or dried fish.

@Lucky15 It wasn't 'nice', it was back breaking! We were moving behind the potato harvester to collect the potatoes which the machine hadn't caught. First we bent down but this soon hurt our backs so badly that we did it the way the older helpers did. We moved forward on our knees. Do that for some hours!

@Lucky15 I have no idea if our cacao is the best now, I used to buy those coming from Davao but presently the Government is now actively involved in developing cacao farmers in the province.

Pork stew with some vegetables. Those were good times. We weren't able to plant some vegetables in the backyard due to some house renovations.
