Time to Walk the Pig

Good morning! I’m waiting for my husband to get ready to go to the gym. If we had a dog, we’d have to take it for a walk first. And speaking of walks, I saw my first pet pig out for a stroll last week. It’s owner let me pet her. Her hair felt stiff and oily. Ick. Off to the gym now. I hope you get your walk or exercise in today, too. See ya later!

No matter how much you care, pigs smell really bad. I would never want a pig as a pet.

I have a nice little computer brush made from the bristles of a wild boar. However the bristles are very soft, not like the hair of the pigs I remember from the farm.

I saw a few pet pigs, but I never had one as a pet. I prefer cats and dogs . I have a little more than one hour before I finish work and tomorrow it's a holiday so I'll be free . Time to make another mango chocolate cheesecake .

@DianneN I would like to have some pets, but not yet, they need proper care and I have no time for that now. Later in the future, if I move into a house, I'll definitely get some pets .

@DianneN I do not recommend anyone to adopt a pig as what will happen to it in their old age? Just as I have decided not to have chickens as pets Our rooster had arthritis in his old age and could not walk He lived for 12 years

I've never seen anyone walking a pet pig - yet. We did see a couple taking their cat for a walk in the woods recently, and that was quite a strange sight.

How interesting to have a pet pig. This year is the year of the Boar in the Asian zodiac calendar. I read that Feb. 5, 2019 is Chinese New Years. https://holidays-today.com/holidays/chinese-new-year-2019.html
2019 Chinese Year of the Boar. A stunning free insight into the Chinese year of the Boar or Pig from Astrologer Patrick Arundell...

@DianneN Do you eat gau, the traditional rice cake for celebrating Chinese New Year? I ate gau, a sticky rice cake with my Mom when she was alive. Even the smallest one on sale is too big for me, so I don't know what I'll do. Maybe I'll go to Chinatown and see if they have a smaller version of gau to eat for good luck and strength, I believe for 2019.
