TV name dropping and a memory 1-23-'19

So this is how healthy and happy I looked back in 1997 when I was working care giving for Gorden Letwin's parents. Yes I am being a name dropper 
I was so surprised last week when they mentioned him on The Big Bang Theory episode. Of course most people don't know who he is but he was one of the Microsoft developers in fact the main IOS man. One of Bill Gates besties. 
Strange guy. Liked to stay out of the limelight. but a genius just the same. When he visited his parents and I tried to talk with him he was always preoccupied with his eyes glued to his laptop. 
Also want to mention Celebrity Big Brother is on started Monday 21st. It has some of my favs. competing with each other. Kato Katlin from O.J. trial, 
Joey Lawrence from Blossum series. and one courtney may be interested in Natalie Eva Marie from WWE.
So far it's been pretty darn funny.

i was very happy back then. felt better then any other time in my life. when hubby was alive he gave me the best 8 yrs. of my life.

I am watching Celebrity Big Brother. I like that there are some previous connections between a couple of the players like Johnathon & Dina, and the two Housewives. That is making the game a little more interesting than I anticipated.

@bunnybon7 No romance in Celebrity Big Brother. After last night's episode I texted my daughter and said, "Ryan Lochte is a prime example of no matter how good an athlete you are, stay in school."

@patgalca i liked the first 2 episodes but last nights was not funny at all. no romance in this one of course. i meant in the usual ones. celebrity i would not expect it so much

i just think it is so funny this time. i like it better then the first one. i am a huge big brother fan though. have watched every season from day one. to me it has everything. drama, comedy, romance, and mystery every episode.

yes they were millionaires maybe even billionaires. not sure but they paid very well and i did live near Sun City in AZ so got to know a few celebs. i miss days when i could get the great jobs and not have to worry over money like i do now

@much2say actually they were more when she was alive, the mother. after that they got more stand off and not caring by the year. the old man really was lonely so he kind of started trying to court me but i understood and ignored his proposals. but some how his daughter , Gordin 's sister got to not trust me and let me go through no fault of my own. it ended badly with severance pay and sending me off with signing a paper not to communicate with them nor sue or bring a third party in our contracts. basically prentending like we like we never met
it was sad and kind of threw me for a bit to depression even though i had done nothing wrong.

@bunnybon7 Oh that must've been an amazing time to work for them. I hope they were kind folks. I feel like back then was better times for many - the country wasn't like how it is now.

@just4him oh Copeland is good don't know the other. i know a lot of people don't like Swaggert. never forgave him but i thought i would have liked to meet him way back. i believe he was just weak as men often tend to be even with Jesus in their life.

@bunnybon7 I met and shook Dr. Charles Stanley's hand at a writer's conference back in the 80s. He was the keynote speaker. Green Bay hosted Kenneth Copeland along with his retinue of speakers two years in a row. Though I never got close enough to any of them.

@CarolDM maybe not. i just did a search and realized it was a made up story and no one is representing Letwin in it. probably later i will do another search and find out what happened with him. last time i just found stuff about his ex wife which he was married to at the time i knew him way back then

thanks. would have been better if i had known i had a nack for care giving much younger though. i only got to do it 10 yrs. then got disabled myself

You have worked in some good interesting places.
At the moment we have got on Big Brother Duo I think they would call it that over there also.
I very rarely see it as none of my favourites are in it.
You enjoy yours though and see if one of your faves wins.

i always enjoy big brother. even wish i could see the ones in canada but can only see parts on youtube. never the whole series. thank goodness i get to see every show of ours here in USA

I do have a friend lol and we try to outdo each other on the famous people we have run into. She always beats me, but I have fun trying to out whit her. I managed once thanks to someone who knew someone I always wanted to meet.

I am not watching - yet. As I never get into that show, but there some celebrities I like on this season, like Natalie Eva Marie - so I may watch one or two episodes and see how I like it.
Joey Lawrence was also in the show Melissa and Joey, with Melissa Joan Hart.

yes i figured you might like watching with the WWE lady there. they also have Tom Green a comedian and an olympic winner Ryan Lotchte , Lolo Jones, etc.
