I almost forget to post this photo of pink flower hibiscus or gumamela as call it.
I took the photo last Sunday in our garden. It was morning when I saw from the row of hibiscus the different flower bloom. Wow its pink . This is not the first time the plant has bloom but its been a long time.
I think its lovely, isn't it?
Me and my wifey bought the pink variety gumamela in a fair exhibit in our city.

I think the climate here in Philippine islands just perfect for the blooming hibiscus. We have so many kinds of hibiscus here, some are endemic here while the one in the photo is product of crossbreeding.

@ilocosboy Lol! They must look gorgeous blooming all together. We have lots of red ones blooming here in Florida now. I wish they were pink, but at least we have flowers blooming. Up north, every is frozen solid.

I prefer the red ones because they are edible.

@ilocosboy people pays 20 dollars for it at starbucks. If you boil the at least 7 pieces of flowers with a stick of cinnamon. Then you cool it down for hours and add lemon juice and honey, the iced tea will taste like cranberry juice.
