@TheHorse Agree.Balance is good.I usually focus on interaction,but now on will try to maintain a balance. This strategy would perhaps help me hit the target sooner.Starting a discussion helps earnings get a boost. .

@amitkokiladitya I noticed it happen many times.Everyday I see my earnings increase at a snail's pace.But whenever I started a discussion,and it receives a few responses,my earnings immediately shot up by two,three,four and even five cents.

@amitkokiladitya And I rarely start a discussion - just one in 5 -7 days.I lack sharable ideas.All I earn here is only from interaction.That's why my earnings goes up very slowly.

I have also noticed that I earn more when I start a new discussion. Some days I don't start any new discussions. I respond to other people's discussions and continue some of the conversations I am having with other members. I also earn that way, but I think that new discussions increase my earnings.

@Porcospino the key is to start new discussions a few days and do not keep on starting one new discussion after another just for the sake of it!

@Porcospino New discussions are important.Sometimes they suddenly receive responses and add to your earnings.Like you I also don't start discussions everyday.I share one discussion when I have a good idea.And like you I also love to talk to those who love interacting.

I have given up on understanding the monetary side of myLot. Sometimes the earning process is extremely slow, sometimes it jumps forward rather quickly although my activity is always more or less the same.

@TheHorse I won't get into anyone's Porsche. My bones are too old for that. I could get in somehow but the getting out again would be problematic. I'm not a contortionist. I was in a Porsche only once. I was younger then. The mother of a pupil fetched me from home and took me back again. She was the representative of the parents of the class I was class teacher of. The occasion was a parents/teacher meeting at school. She and her husband have a Porsche and a Mercedes. What do they do for a living? They make the padding which is fixed to the inner side of the doors of a car. I don't live far away from the Mercedes and Porsche plants. Many people are rich here who work as component suppliers for the big firms.

@CarolDM I don't have any idea either as to how posting a discussion improves our earnings.But this is what I have noticed .And I am not alone to notice it.There are many who share my experience as is evident from the responses here.

Well it is indeed more a question if how "interactive" things are, to rather than the question of how much we are posting or responding. And two days this month, my earnings were between 0.1100 and 0.1300 - much more than the average for me.
